For our site located in Nobitz we are looking for you as

Stress Engineer (f/m)

Your challenge

  • Construct FE models and perform static/dynamic analyses
  • Draft, develop and provide statistic evidence of Composite parts (aviation/ATA21, railway)
  • Professionally support part qualification according to customer requirements
  • Plan and perform Engineering tests for validation of calculation approach and identification of material constants
  • Approve construction documents (Release process) and assess deviations (DQN and Concession process)
  • Support part construction and R&D department

Our expectation

  • Master of Engineering (Machine engineering, Aerospace engineering, or Constructional engineering)
  • Solid experience with Patran/ Nastran (non-linear deformation, stiffness and contact analyses, dynamic analyses)
  • Practical experience in part optimization of Composites (weight, stiffness)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes of Composite parts
  • Experience in creating Stress Reports (providing evidence about Composites, Metals and Joints)
  • At least 3 years professional experience in aviation, preferably in ATA21
  • Strong English skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5 and VBA would be an advantage
  • Team spirit, autonomous, cross-project and solution-oriented cooperation
  • Passion for Construction and Design
